Fall Drive-in Fundraiser Safety

We are following Alameda County Health orders for vehicle based gatherings

The following measures will be in place at the Drive-In fundraiser event

  • Cars will be parked at least 6 feet apart

  • Masks will be required anytime you are outside of your car

  • Check in will be contactless. You will receive check in instructions upon RSVP. Rolling down windows or exiting your vehicle will not be necessary.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will I need to leave my car?

There will be no reason you need to leave your car at any point or even unroll your windows if you do not choose to. Directions for check in will be provided upon RSVP.

Will there be bathrooms available?

Yes bathrooms will be available. Masks will be required anytime you are outside of your vehicle.

Can I sit outside my car?

Currently we cannot allow anyone to sit outside of their car. We will update this page as more information becomes available.

Will we be showing a movie?

No, This event is a live presentation by the Next Step team. You will be able to see the presenters on a large blow up screen.

How will we be able to hear?

We will be transmitting via an FM radio station. If you have a battery operated radio, we suggest using that over your car radio. You can use your car radio, just be sure to turn your car on fully every 20-30 minutes to make sure your battery does not run out. You can also download a radio app on any mobile device and use data to stream the audio. 

Can children attend this event?

While the event will not be tailored toward children, you are welcome to bring your children. Be sure to bring activities for your kids as leaving your car will be discouraged to maintain the safety of all guests. 

This is event is free, but will I be asked to give money during the presentation?

This is Next Step's largest fundraiser of the year. While you are not required to give a donation, we hope that you will prayerfully consider supporting our ministry in whatever way you can after you hear our presentation. 

What happens if it rains?

The event will be rescheduled if rain is in the forecast.

Will facemasks be required?

Yes, anytime you have your windows rolled down or are outside of your car, you and anyone else over the age of 2 will be required to wear a facemask.

How many people can I bring with me?

You can bring as many as legally fit in your vehicle. There must be seat-belts for all passengers. The event is free to attend so if you have more guests than fit in your vehicle, you can register another vehicle. Please make sure that those in your car are only members of your immediate household. If you have friends outside of your household who want to attend, please have them register separately in another vehicle.
